Simba Shoes team, has been monitoring the complete manufacturing process for over 20 years, providing services to both private label brands and individual clients. What is the minimum order quality?
There is no minimum order quantity with us. We can produce 1 or several pairs of shoes depending on the clients requirements. However, price per pair will be determined on several factors such as shoe design, the shoe last utilized, the materials, custom components, time for production etc.
What is prototyping & sample making?
Prototyping and sample making refers to the development of new styles. It involves creating products and shoe collections based on new designs and specifications. The designs can be provided by you (if you are an experienced shoe designer) or ask our Design Team to help interpreting your ideas and get production-ready sketches. Only after the prototyping and sample making phase is complete, production (of the bulk order) can start.
What do I need to start the prototyping process?
For development of new designs, what you need to get started are detailed sketches and production ready tech-packs.
If you have an initial idea or sketch but do not have the technical know-how to translate those sketches into a production ready tech-pack, then our in-house design team can help to recreate the sketch and make it production ready.
How much does prototyping cost?
The cost for prototyping and sample making is generally in the range $3 to $9 per style. The price may vary depending on complexity of design, materials chosen, hardware and embellishments (if any), or if particular shoe-making techniques are necessary.
What is the lead time for production orders?
5-8 weeks (excluding shipping)
Note: take into account Public holidays: 2-3 weeks in August and 1-2 weeks at the end of December.
